This shoot is one of 8 sequences with professional dancer Rayna. As Rayna changes into black lace, Sue and her assistant change the set, pinning up a length of inexpensive, black velvet purchased from Amazon. Sue begins with her standard cover girl posing and moves into more avant-garde poses as Rayna improvises dancerly hand movements.

  • As a photographer, knowing when to stop each sequence is key. It is important to know when you’ve got the shot you need and you can walk away.
