Today is all about Body Paint! Sue has been painting her client’s body for 20 years and she’s ready to pass along what she has learned over the years. Body painting can fall into so many different genres of photography to add drama to your portrait. Tune in to see how amazing this look can be.

Preparation:

Compare three different options for painting your clients to create artistic and statuesque portraits. Sue makes emphasis on speaking to your clients beforehand, making sure they are someone who can move and someone who is comfortable being painted.

  • Porcelain Slip

Key Things to Take Away:

  • Go lighter with clay, not thicker.
  • Clay takes 3x longer to dry than porcelain

Shoot:

The shoot that Sue fell in love with: A creative shoot of Rayna painted in clay. Also, watch Sue take video in real-time to later be pieced together in a beautiful segment.
