Born and raised in a rural farming community in the scenic Ottawa Valley, Laurie Clouthier originally relocated to Toronto to pursue her career in business. After realizing that she was missing her small town roots, she discovered the town of Schomberg where she settled to raise her family. The endless beauty found in the Schomberg area farmlands inspired her to pursue photography as a means to capture the natural beauty of the area, the ever changing landscapes, the seasonal shifts in colour and light and the feelings those images created. Her love of photography grew into capturing images and life stories of people in the area. Laurie now specializes in studio and natural light portraiture for business clients as well as extreme sports photography. She also is exploring the world of creative and editorial shoots.
